The City of Hialeah Gardens is proud to announce the completion of a new state-of-the-art Active Shooter and Emergency Response Training Facility.  The facility will allow police officers to train for real life scenarios in a virtual reality simulator.  The training facility will have an indoor firearms range, a conference classroom, defensive tactics training room and an indoor gymnasium. 

The Active Shooter and Emergency Response Training Facility which will be located at 13691 NW 107th Avenue adjacent to the Westland Gardens Park complex.  Construction of the facility was made possible by funding appropriated to the City through State and Federal grants. The new facility will not only benefit law enforcement but also serve as a regional hub for advanced public safety training.

An early access event was held July 30, 2025 to celebrate the completion of the facility and to celebrate a new chapter in community safety.
